About me ….
My positive pendants started 7 years ago as Hope Jewellery as a creative hobby, which later became charity based, creating custom-made keepsakes for families whose children have gained their wings. After volunteering for various charities such as CanTeen H.B, Child Cancer H.B and Gabby’s Starlit Hope, I gained a great sense of gratitude for life and a need to help others through RAKS (random acts of kindness), which set me on a journey to help others through my self-empowering workshops.
Over the past years I have gained a Bachelor of Sports Management degree, certificates in Mindfulness, Coaching, Yin Yoga and Paddle Boarding and have changed the focus of my pendants to concentrate on messages of encouraging self-love, self-acceptance and self-empowerment.
In the past, I have had my own issues with self-hate, self-doubt & big feelings of absolute shame about my body and self which resulted in years of feeling lost and angry. I was unaware at the time that my issues were deeper within, and were formed by habitual negative patterns & beliefs, which I had created within my mind many years prior. From my connection with nature (Paddle Boarding), and my practice of Yin Yoga, Mindfulness, Meditation and acquiring on-going knowledge, I have over the years learnt to love myself from the inside out, as well as adjusted my perception of myself to embrace self-love and self-acceptance fully. I now continue to practice self-love, mindfulness, meditation and constantly fill my beautiful brain up with knowledge everyday to become a better, stronger, more empowered me.
I also have two beautiful daughters 21 and 23, both who went through personal struggles through their teens during High School. I have now seen the positive changes in my daughters from practicing Mindfulness and what I have learnt on my journey thus far. As a mother I can understand the many challenges our children face, and how helpless we can feel, in particular with today’s technology and social media world. I’d like to share my positive pendants which we can make together (creativeness), my mindfulness journey, the wisdom I have learnt, and be an open book for anyone to learn from me, and feel positive, non-judged and 100% yourself in my presence.
